A bicycle ride from Recklinghausen, to Wuppertal, Solingen, Düsseldorf, Krefeld and Duisburg on a summer weekend in 2019 was the event of a lifetime that bonded together the members of The hair cut butter chase. Copious amounts of Jägermeister, cheese and wurst, bursts of summer rain and sleeping in a closed pommes bude in an industrial estate, made the band who they are.
The three members, Marcus (guitar), Christoph (bass) and James (drums) found a way to combine their love of bike riding, sleeping rough and talking shit to produce fuzzy rock n roll with a British bent.
After many adventures and the occasional mishap, The hair cut butter chase have evolved and crystallized into a no-nonsense band of rock n roll misfits.

Mick O’Leary steht bereits seit vielen Jahren als Folkmusiker auf der Bühne. Irische Songs dürfen ebensowenig fehlen wie zahlreiche andere bekannte Folk-, Rock- und Popsongs aus nahezu dem gesamten englischen Sprachraum, schnelle Tanznummern wie Balladen. Und das eine oder andere Bierchen muss auch sein, in jedem Falle wird das Publikum stehts ausdrücklich dazu aufgefordert, den Abend in vollen Zügen zu genießen und sich einfach nur zu freuen.
